FreeTextBox 2.0.4 Released

April 16, 2004 | Uncategorized | 1 comment

  • totally new CSS buttons.  Now all button images are in one 5.5 KB image! should help loading times a lot. (idea from here and here)
  • added a .NET Framework 1.0 dll to the download (you can tell the difference by the versioning system. Framework 1.0 = 2.0.3300.4 || Framework 1.1 = 2.0.5000.4 according to MS specs)
  • added iespell and netspell buttons
  • added StyleMenu
  • added LeftToRight support (TextDirection property)
  • added workaround for LinkButtons in Mozilla/IE 5 (form.onsubmit isn’t fired, which in my opinion is bug in ASP.NET) onmouseout=FTB_CopyHtmlToHidden
  • added workaround for Mozilla’s IFRAME sizing issues in HtmlMode
  • fixed insert text (sometimes it inserted directly on a page, not into FreeTextBox)

Hi, I'm John Dyer. In my day job, I build websites and create online seminary software for a seminary in Dallas. I also like to release open source tools including a pretty popular HTML5 video player and build tools that help people find best bible commentaries and do bible study. And just for fun, I also wrote a book on the theology of technology and media.
